This 4-minute video shows viewers the process of replacing the transmitter and sensor for the Dexcom G6 when using the Dexcom G6 App on a compatible smart device.* The transmitter battery is good for up to 3 months. Starting 3 weeks before the end the battery life, the G6 App will warn the user that the transmitter will soon need to be replaced. In this video, a Dexcom G6 CGM user goes through the steps for replacing the transmitter, pairing the transmitter and sensor, and starting the new sensor.
